Something for Nothing chain letters offer cash, prizes, merchandise or trips in exchange for forwarding the e-mail on to everyone you know or participating in a clever scheme. Quite frequently, they allude to "e-mail tracking," and describe a pyramid payoff structure. In the online world, as well as the real world, if an offer sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
