Break the Chain It's Not Exactly Veal

Exclusive (11/5/2001) Mankind's oldest taboo takes center stage in this alarmist, reactionary call to action. Unfortunately, this is just another joke that was too sick for some people to get.

What a sad state of affairs!!

Please forward this message to as many people as u can so that it can be seen by the world and someone takes action on the same It is a thing against human race and unless we people of the world put hand to hand to eradicate this custom this will not end. This is a beautiful example of Armchair Activism: 'I'm really upset about this and you should be too. Action should be taken, so forward this note so that, eventually, someone somewhere may notice the problem and do something about it.' Take it easy - The people of Taiwan may have different values that we have, but they are not cannibals.

Some versions of this letter feature an attached picture of an Asian man munching on what clearly appears to be a human baby, complete with separated arms still on the plate. What you're actually looking at is a photo from a performance art presentation by Chinese artist Zhu Yu. TruthOrFiction.com has more information on the origins of this rumor and the picture (Yu claims it is a real fetus that he stole, but other accounts identify it as a doll's head on a roasted duck). Break this Chain!
